BUSINESS LANGUAGE
WLS offers a full programme of courses to meet the needs of those who require language skills for business, professional or work purposes
Custom-Designed Courses
These consist of special study programmes, suitable for all levels,
drawn up in consultation with participants to suit:
- a specific type of language i.e. financial, technical
- a specific need or skill i.e. using the telephone
- a specific event i.e. business trip, meeting
- a specific job i.e. secretary, lawyer.
Professional Language Course
The course content is based on a framework syllabus, adapted for
level and needs, focusing on work situations in 6 areas:
- The Workplace
- Administration and Management
- Purchases and Sales
- Marketing and Public Relations
- Financial Matters
- Careers
Certificate Courses
These courses prepare students to enter the workplace or improve work
prospects by acquiring internationally recognised qualifications e.g.:
- City and Guilds Vocational Languages Certificate
- London Chamber of Commerce and Industry- FLAW (foreign languages at work) Certificate
- London Institute of Linguists Diploma in Translation
